A normal day for a mom
I was explaining this to a mom. She wants to build a course, and she has a baby. The old way, you sit at the keyboard until the work is done.
Now you send the prompt and you go and feed the baby. Claude Code works while you are away. You come back to finished work.
Prompt it yourself
Build the next lesson of my course from this outline. Work through it on your own, and show me the result when it is done.
Send it, then step away
Write the prompt like a brief for a colleague who works while you are out. What to build, where it goes, and what done looks like. Then press enter and go.
The agent does not need you to watch. It needs a clear brief. When you are back, there is a result to read.
Prompt it yourself
Here is the brief. Do the whole thing, then write me a short summary of what you did and what you were unsure about.
I can help you build yours
I build things like this with an AI agent, on my own computer. In a private session I help you do the same with your idea. Or bring it to the show, free.
Come back and check
Read the summary first, then the work. Say what is wrong, send it, and go again.
You still have to prompt it yourself. That is the one job that stays yours. Everything else runs while you feed the baby.
Prompt it yourself
Here is what is wrong with the result. Fix these, and leave the rest as it is.
Do it in the terminal
I do this with Claude Code, the AI agent in the terminal. It works in a folder on your own computer, so it reads your files every time and can look things up for you.
A web chat works too, but there you paste everything in again in every new chat.
