Interrupt the agent
Think of the one person at work you hate interrupting. Somebody is working, you go over and tell them to work on something else, and they are angry and unhappy. The agent is fine with it. Interrupt it, switch it, and bring it back.

The person you hate interrupting
Think of the one person at work you hate interrupting. Somebody is working, you go over, you knock, and you say: hey, you have to work on something else now.
He is going to be super angry. He was working, and you took that away. He is going to be unhappy, and you are going to think twice next time, even when the new thing matters more.
That hesitation costs you. The urgent thing waits because you do not want to spoil somebody's afternoon.
Prompt it yourself
Pause what you are doing. Something more urgent came up: here it is.
The agent is fine with it
The agent is fine with it. No mood, no sigh, no cost. You say stop, and it stops. You say do this instead, and it does.
So interrupt freely. The one habit worth keeping is to tell it where to park the work before you switch. One line, and nothing is lost.
That is the difference between a colleague and an agent. The colleague deserves your care. The agent only needs your words.
Prompt it yourself
Stop. Write down where you are and what is next on this task, then switch to this.
I can help you build yours
I build things like this with an AI agent, on my own computer. In a private session I help you do the same with your idea. Or bring it to the show, free.
Bring it back where it was
When the urgent thing is done, send it back. Pick up the task you parked. The note it wrote is the way back, and it takes one line.
The agent never asks why you changed your mind.
Prompt it yourself
Go back to the task you parked. Tell me where we were, then carry on.
Start with your next interruption
Next time something urgent lands while the agent is working, do not wait. Stop it, park the work, switch, and bring it back. Nobody is unhappy.
Prompt it yourself
Stop and park this. Do the urgent thing first, then come back to it.
