Let the agents fight it out
My wife sent me a refund request for an order past its refund period. I sent her back one prompt for her AI agent. A few days later she had the whole refund. Here is the prompt, and what to give the agent.

A refund request, after the deadline
A few days ago my wife sent me a refund request. The order was already past its refund period, and she wanted me to deal with it.
I did not deal with it. I sent her back one prompt to put into her favourite AI agent. A few days later she had the whole refund.
That is the Short. Not a trick, a habit. The problem goes to the agent first, not to me.

One line, then the facts
The prompt is one line: help me to get a refund for this order. Then add as much information as you can. What was ordered, what was charged, what you want back, and how you want it confirmed.
But do not overcomplicate it. You are not writing the complaint. The agent writes the complaint. You give it the facts and the goal, and it figures out the rest.

Cancel the subscription and all future payments. Refund the AUD 68.99 charge. Confirm by email that it is cancelled.
If you do not know what to give it, ask it
Ask the agent what it needs. It lists them: the receipt, the email, the conversation so far, the checkout page, the seller's website, where you live.
Each one is a screenshot or a paste. The agent reads them and writes the message. You press send.

What do you need from me to get this refunded?
I can help you build yours
I build things like this with an AI agent, on my own computer. In a private session I help you do the same with your idea. Or bring it to the show, free.
When they say no
They said no, twice. So the next prompt was the situation, plain: they said no twice, I am in Brisbane and the seller is overseas, which consumer law applies here, and what exactly do I send back?
The agent knows the rules better than the person on the other side of the chat. It wrote the next message.

They said no twice. I am in Brisbane, Queensland and the seller is overseas. Which consumer law actually applies here, and what exactly do I send back?
They have an agent too
Let's be real. The company's support is an agent already. They have an agent, you have an agent. Let them fight it out, and keep your evening.
The subscription was cancelled, the charge came back in full, and the email confirmed it. After the deadline.

Here is their reply. Write my next message, and tell me if I should accept it or push back.
Start with your own order
Find the receipt and the email. Open your agent, paste the one line, and add the facts. When it asks for more, give it more. Then press send and go and do something else.
