It is free software and I am one person, so I will not promise you a reply by Tuesday. What I will promise is that every report gets read, and that a good one usually gets fixed.
Something is broken
Open an issue on promptityourself/piy-dial-countdown. That is the only place I track them, so a report anywhere else is one I will lose.
Send the diagnostics
At the bottom of the property inspector there is a Copy diagnostics button. One press puts the plugin version, your machine, the Stream Deck application version, the device you have connected and any recent warnings on your clipboard. Paste that into the issue.
It costs nothing until you press it. Nothing is collected in the background and nothing leaves your machine on its own.
What makes a report easy to fix
- What you did, in the order you did it. A gesture at a time.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
- Whether it happens every time, or once in a while.
- The diagnostics, pasted in.
A fault nobody can reproduce is one nobody can fix, so the boring version of the story is worth more than a tidy summary of it.
It is not a fault, I just want something
Same place, and say so. It is open source under MIT: you can also read it, change it and ship your own build without asking me first.
If GitHub is not for you
Write to contact@promptityourself.com and I will open the issue myself. Not having a GitHub account should not be the reason a fault goes unreported.
